2 L water
2 waxy (not starchy) potatoes
8 oz. macaroni
1 T salt
1/2 c. pesto
8 oz. green beans, ends trimmed, cut into two or three pieces if very long
grated Parmesan cheese
Pour water into large saucepan.
Dice potatoes into half-inch cubes, add to water.
Bring to a boil.
Add macaroni and salt, bring back to a boil, cook for two minutes.
Add beans, finish cooking to taste, drain.
Drain, add pesto, toss, serve with cheese.
