Poslfit Recipes: Pasta with Pesto, Potatoes and Green Beans

2 L water
2 waxy (not starchy) potatoes
8 oz. macaroni
1 T salt
1/2 c. pesto
8 oz. green beans, ends trimmed, cut into two or three pieces if very long
grated Parmesan cheese
From Kristen's recollection, originally from the Everyday Food cookbook. Serves four.
Pour water into large saucepan.
Dice potatoes into half-inch cubes, add to water. Bring to a boil.
Add macaroni and salt, bring back to a boil, cook for two minutes.
Add beans, finish cooking to taste, drain.
Drain, add pesto, toss, serve with cheese.
