John W. Chew *1773 Spottsylvania Co., Virginia From RLC 14093, who says he never married. findagrave.com says (I believe erroneously) that he married EAP 11662, confusing this JC with JJC 11661. The Society of the War of 1812 in Virginia performed a grave marking ceremony for him at the Masonic Cemetery in Fredericksburg, VA on 2003-07-07. At the time, Trip Wiggin, President of the Rappahannock Colonial Heritage Society and Mike Lyman prepared a brief biography which is the source for JWC's middle initial, and information about his siblings-in-law. He is mentioned by Jett (see RBC 14139), who says his will was dated 1837-10-11 and bequeathed his property to his sisters PCC 15076, AC 15078, EC 15084, MC 15092, CMC 15096, brothers TC 15081, RC 15087, BC 15071, and nephew Cadwallader W.
