Ten children: Richard Hanson (1816 12 28-1861 08 10), Thomas Henry (b. 1820 08 07, moved to LA), Roger Duane (1822 07 18-1823 11 10), Mary Kay (1824 08 26-1875 06 09), Charles Wallace Hanson (1827 04 30-1849 01 20), Daniel Sheffey (1829 07 09-1849 02 06), Eliza (1832 02 04-1842 02 13), Roger Chew (1833 07 07-1833 07 19), Serena Louisa (1836 03 12-1842 02 13), Joe Gales (1839 10 16-1858-06 27). Only Richard Hanson and Thomas Henry married. Buried in Congressional Cemetery, Range 53, SIte 134.
